You are important and valuable to me because you are you. I've never met someone like you and not only is that why I value you, but it is also why you are important.
As regards your rightly surmised issues with therapeutic/medical conformity, I would say it becomes important to consider that it is rather clear these medications and advice are not designed for just you and that you have to make your own way on whether you want to stay on or go off whatever variety you consume. Given the experiences of our time, the advent of social media, and the now just growing understanding of neurodiversity - you might not have many who can relate to what you are going thru. So the blank stares, the feeling that you have to conform to exist, and top 10 list-like advice you receive is the artifact of one-size fits all solutions to the masses.
This conformity driven system is not wrong. It's just, maybe wrong for you. I am finding solace in non-conformity, not apologizing for what I see, nor what I communicate or how that is done. I don't mean malice in these things, but there is a point in time where you have to make the world deal with you and your perspective, because that is how you show the world you are different, where you should communicate it, and that this is what makes you important.
