Carrie Evans’ speech took off almost overnight. The day after the Minot, North Dakota City Council Meeting, TikTok user @Scuuberz posted various excerpts from the meeting online. Just over a week later, NBC, CNN, The Independent, NewNowNext, and other media platforms helped circulate the speech about the Pride Flag. Even the Ellen DeGeneres Show reached out to Carrie according to an interview she gave to Minot State University’s Campus Pride Club.
